East West Visual Identity Standards

Our Logos

Consistent and correct utilization of the East West logo creates unity across our global company. To ensure proper usage, please adhere to these standards.

Our logo lockup contains of two elements: the globe symbol and the East West wordmark. Please do not alter these elements or the East West logo in any way. Instead, use the approved logo files that are available for download at the bottom of this page.

What’s Different?

Our latest identity refresh yielded two visual changes to the East West logo: the removal of the “Design-Manufacturing-Distribution” tagline and a slight update to the globe symbol’s gradient.

Note: Any existing physical signage may still include the archived logo and does not need to be recreated. However, moving forward all printed designs, signage and instances of the East West logo in digital applications need to adhere to the new brand identity and incorporate the refreshed company logo. Exceptions will be made to logo occurrences that are too cumbersome to update, i.e. email signatures will remain as they currently are. Please feel free to contact the Marketing Department if you encounter any issues during the process of updating to the refreshed East West logo.

Logo Variations

Our primary logo is the horizontal orientation with gray text and the gradient globe. This logo should be your go-to asset for all branded content. When the primary East West logo isn’t a good fit, use one of the other logo variations that best fits the specific application. Please do not use any East West logos other than the approved logo variations available for download.

The Globe Icon

Use the globe icon on its own only if you do not have enough room for the full logo or in cases where the East West brand has already been established.

Logo Guidelines

Our logo is our most valuable brand asset. Only use the provided East West logo downloads as they are. Please respect our logo and brand—do not rearrange, alter, rotate, recolor, modify, squish, tinker or tamper with it. This section provides some examples of what not to do. However if you always use the East West logo downloads as they are, you won’t run into any of these issues!

All East West logos are available for download at the bottom of this page. If any pixelation or blurriness occurs when using a logo, a higher-quality file might be needed. Please review the logo download guidelines or reach out to the East West Marketing department if you need additional assistance.

For both clarity and accessibility, it is important to maintain appropriate contrast between the logo and the background behind it. It’s better to have no logo on a document, than to have one that’s illegible.

Logo Placement Guidelines

The East West logo should be placed appropriately on documents and collateral to ensure readability. When using our logo, provide plenty of space around it to prevent clutter. The East West logo should remain separate from other page elements and the page edge by using the below “Safe Zone” guidelines to maintain appropriate clear space. Appreciate the value of white space in your layouts, it allows the content to breathe and not feel too cluttered.

Logo Downloads

The logos below are for typical digital usage and most print applications. If a different type or a high-quality file is needed, or for help with large format professional printing, please reach out to the East Marketing department for assistance.

Don’t know what file to download? A PNG is an image file with a transparent background, for web and digital use. An EPS file is a scalable vector file with a transparent background, for large-format printing use. In most cases, a PNG file will work. If you run into any issues with a PNG, try using the EPS download option instead!
